|  This Glass Frosting Powder is re-usable liquid with the consistency of water that creates a fingerprint-proof, matte finish to any clear or colored glass. This frosting powder is only mixed with water without adding acid during the frosting process and gives a more environmental friendly solution.

Water Based Frosting Powder Operation Instructions
Step 1
- There are two parts in the Water-Frost, Part A and Part B. Pour the Part A and Part B together into a PVC or plastic container.
- Add water slowly into the container with agitation.
- Cover the mixed solution at least 3 days for maturation, and stir twice per day for further maturation. (The maturation time is longer, the effect will be better.)
Notes :
- Please make sure don’t mix part A and part B together before usage.
- The weight ratio of powder to water is 1:0.4 (ie. 1kg powder and 400g water).
- Hot water (at 70-80 degree centigrade) is a better choice. High temperature will speeden the reaction.
- This is an endothermic reaction, so the newly prepared frosting solution is rather viscous. Use the solution until it achieves normal state. In summer, it needs 2-3 days; while in winter, it needs 3-5 days.
- The best frosting temperature is 25-40 degree centigrade.
Step 2
- Stir the solution well with a wood or plastic rod, then filter the solution with 20-30 mesh nylon material.
Note : The collected solid residue can readily be reused after mixed with HCl acid.
- FLAT GLASS
Cover one side with PVC film if you just want frost one side, and then dip the glass into the frosting solution or spray frosting solution on the glass surface. We often frost the glass for 2-4 minutes.
- GLASS BOTTLE
Use rubber holder to hold the bottle, and then dip in the frosting solution for 2-4 minutes.
Drip the glass for 10-25 seconds and wash with water.
Step 3
Dry the glass with hot air.
Step 4
- The concentration of the frosting solution will decrease after frosting a few hours. Additional concentrated frosting solution (1:0.30) should be added into the frosting working system to maintain normal production.
Step 5
- During frosting operation, acidic waste water needs to be neutralized with lime water until pH=8-10.
Safety Notes :
- Wear safety glasses and rubber gloves at all times during both the frosting preparation and operation. During the preparation.
- Carry out frosting operation in a ventilated room.
- In case of contacting with skin or eyes, wash immediately with running water for 5‐15 minutes. Then seek medical attention if discomfort still persists.
